About

Gilded :

1. Covered or highlighted with gold or something of a golden color

2. Having a pleasing or showy appearance that conceals something of little worth

Today the term is usually used in conjunction with metals and to describe something that looks like gold, but it really isn’t.  In other words fake gold. (The term gilded also describes a period in history: see The Gilded Age and/or Mark Twain’s critique of it: The Gilded Age: A Tale of Today).

This is relevant to Gilded Limits, because here it means ‘false limits.’ So many times people are boxed-in. Boxed-in by societal ideas/ norms/expectations or sadly, sometimes even by their own friends and family. I want to use this space to discuss anything (hence not placing limits on my blog lol ), but I also hope  to  cover some things that allow you to push past your own limits.

Consider different points of view. Consider your own point of view.

Whatever you do, just don’t limit yourself ❤
